Motorized Curtains: Effortless Luxury for South Florida Homes

Imagine waking up and your draperies glide open on their own, letting in the morning light — no cords, no effort, no climbing to reach a high window. That's the everyday reality of motorized curtains, and it's one of the fastest-growing upgrades we're installing in South Florida homes.

What Are Motorized Curtains?

Motorized curtains are draperies mounted on a powered track. A quiet motor moves the fabric open and closed — controlled by a remote, a wall switch, your phone, or your smart home system. They work with ripplefold, pinch pleat, and most other drapery styles, so you never have to choose between beauty and convenience.

Why Homeowners Love Them

Hard-to-reach windows, solved. Tall windows, skylights, and wide sliders are beautiful — and a chore to operate by hand. Motorization makes them effortless.

Child and pet safety. No cords, no loops, no tangles. Motorized draperies are one of the safest options for homes with kids or pets.

Protect your interiors. Set your draperies to close during the harshest afternoon sun and you protect floors, rugs, and furniture from fading — automatically.

Privacy on a schedule. Program your draperies to close at sunset and open at sunrise. Your home looks lived-in and cared for, even when you're traveling.

Somfy: The Standard We Trust

We install Somfy motorization — the industry leader in quiet, reliable drapery motors. Somfy systems integrate with most smart home platforms, including Alexa, Google Home, and Control4, and our team is Somfy-certified, so programming and setup are handled by trained professionals.

Battery or Hardwired?

Both options work beautifully. Battery-powered motors are ideal for existing homes — no electrician needed, and the rechargeable batteries last months between charges. Hardwired motors are perfect for new construction or renovations where wiring is already planned. We'll recommend the right option during your consultation.

What Does Installation Look Like?

We measure your windows, build your draperies in our own workroom, and install the track, motor, and drapery in one visit. Programming takes minutes, and we walk you through the remote and app before we leave.
